The Child Care and Development Fund is a federal program that helps low-income families obtain childcare. The purpose of CCDF is to increase the availability and quality of childcare.

Paying for Care

The Child Care and Development Fund and On My Way PreK programs are designed to ensure families have equal access to quality childcare. Vouchers are provided on a sliding income scale, which is also dependent on the number of children in a family. To register, contact Brightpoint:

Some employers offer dependent care FSA plans or stipends. Check with your HR department for information.

Some childcare providers offer tuition subsidies or scholarships -inquire with your provider.

Based off income and amount of children you have ask childcare providers if they provide tuition assistance, subsidy programs, and scholarships.

If employed, ask if your company has a Dependent Care Flexible Savings Account.
