Paying for Care

**As of 2024, OECOSL has a waitlist for new CCDF or OMWPK applicants. Please still apply to be added to the waitlist**

Child Care and Development Fund and On My Way PreK programs are designed to ensure families have equal access to quality childcare. Vouchers are provided on a sliding income scale, which is also dependent on the number of children in a family. To register, contact Brightpoint:

Some employers offer dependent care FSA plans or stipends. Check with your HR department for information. Be sure to ask them about Co-Share. 

Some childcare providers offer tuition subsidies or scholarships -inquire with your provider.

Indiana Co-Share Program

Through the Co-Share pilot, the cost of child care is shared between the employer and employee.  It's operated through the Northeast Indiana Early Childhood Coalition (NEIECC).

CCDF/ On My Way PreK

CCDF (Child Care and Development Fund) is a federal program that helps eligible families afford child care. The funding is paid directly to approved child care providers to help cover the cost of care for children.

On My Way Pre-K is Indiana’s state-funded preschool program for 4-year-olds. It helps families pay for high-quality pre-K so children are better prepared for kindergarten, with a focus on early learning, social skills, and school readiness.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
